St. Charles Parish directs this project with the help of the entire Lima Catholic community. It assists families in need during the Holiday Season. Large
onion bags are distributed during the Sunday Masses two weekends before Christmas. Parishioners and friends are asked to return the bags with non-perishable food items. Each year, approximately 800 bags with a week’s supply of food are donated. Lima community organizations distributed the bags. Many volunteers are needed the weekend before Christmas to organize and ready the bags. If interested, contact Mark Stolly by email here.
